Come and stay with us in our home on the edge of the little village of Pago de San Clemente, close to the wonderful medieval town of Trujillo. Our house, which dates back almost two hundred years, has six double bedrooms (all with en suite bathrooms), a sitting room (with library of birdbooks) and dining room, the latter in the beautiful old wine cellar. The house has a hectare of land, with a swimming pool, olive grove, sheep paddock, chickens and organic vegetable garden. We are set in a small range of hills, covered by old olive groves and small vineyards. We have an ever-increasing list of birds recorded from the garden. |
You will enjoy a friendly, homely environment with us. Mealtimes can be flexible to meet your needs and up-to-date advice and information will be available for you to make the best of birding opportunities during your stay. If desired, we can also arrange a guiding service to help you enjoy your birdwatching even more. We can cater for the different needs of beginners and experts alike, especially those travelling independently or in small groups. |
Meals Mealtimes can be flexible to meet your needs. We are also used to catering for a wide range of dietary preferences. We use our own organic olive oil for preparing evening meals which are based as much as possible on local produce, including our own organic vegetables, accompanied by the highly appreciated village wine. Homemade bread is served at breakfast. We can also provide packed lunches on request. We are just a few minutes walk from a very friendly village bar, where meals are also available and can also recommend various eating places in nearby Trujillo.
